Aleksi Perälä’s Ote glassware combines a strong sense of respect for Iittala’s past tradition with a fresh new style. The result is an exciting and successful encounter between two generations – Ote recently won the acclaimed Design Plus Award at Ambiente in Frankfurt. The Ote glasses are designed to be multifunctional and combinable. The line is composed of three types of glasses: two tumblers of different sizes and one wine and universal glass. They come in five colors. Overall, the Ote design can be compared to a good wine: full-bodied and smooth, rich in nuances, one that goes well with a number of dishes, both everyday and festive, yet still with a distinct character of its own.
